Communications Coordinator
£30,000 (Pro-rata)
The role
We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on and driven Communications Coordinator to support our Communications Lead in executing high-impact marketing, PR and social media strategies for both our clients and Stratos. You will be a key member of the communications team, assisting with content creation, social media management, reporting and the day-to-day delivery of retained and ad-hoc projects.
This role is perfect for a proactive individual who thrives on variety – one day you might be drafting and scheduling social content and the next, coordinating a client PR stunt or briefing the creative team for assets to accompany a campaign. You will play a vital part in maintaining the agency’s tone of voice and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional communication services.

What you’ll do
Key responsibilities
- Content and Copywriting: Drafting and editing compelling copy for client blogs, website content, press releases and social posts and Stratos’ own communications.
- Social Media Support: Assisting in executing client social media strategies and sharing your ideas and inspiration to grow Stratos’ social media, ensuring all platforms stay active, content is scheduled and is aligned with overarching marketing plans.
- Team Collaboration: Building relationships with the digital, creative and client services team.
- Creative Briefing: Working closely with the creative team to coordinate the design of proposals and marketing assets.
- Client Onboarding: Supporting the Communications Lead in the successful onboarding of new clients.
- Event and Podcast Logistics: Assisting in the planning and execution of client and Stratos-led events and thought leadership opportunities.
- Reporting & Research: Regular reporting for client communications and supporting the Communications Lead in creating new ideas for continued engagement/ growth/ awareness across their channels. Helping identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts and conducting regular research for new business prospecting.
- Relationship Building: Maintaining friendly and professional communication with key clients to help meet their strategic objectives
Required skills and experience
- Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a changing to-do list in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative Spirit: A true team player who is friendly, approachable and ready to support or challenge the team as needed.
- Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues across all levels of an organisation.
- Strategic Awareness: A basic understanding of commercial marketing and strategic planning.

The package
- Part time role: 22.5 hours per week (3 full days or spread across 4 or 5 days)
