Job Overview

The role of Digital Account Manager reports into the Digital Director and works with team members across the agency. 

In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for managing the agency’s digital projects from the initial scoping phase through to final sign off and delivery. You’ll have a very hands on, personable and proactive approach and a can-do attitude, where flexibility is key. 

As an experienced digital account manager, you’ll be comfortable advising clients, interpreting their requirements and suggesting new ideas and solutions around all aspects of digital marketing and web development.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll work across a variety of client accounts; for some accounts you will have full responsibility for that account and for other accounts, you will work in a supporting role alongside the Digital Director 
  • You’ll work closely with clients advising them on and helping them to interpret digital requirements and suggest new ideas around all aspects of digital marketing and web development
  • Own the full project management process from the initial pitching/scoping/briefing stage, through to writing and presenting proposals, estimating timings and costs, producing technical and/or functional specifications. You’ll also be the main point of contact with the client during the life of the project, updating them on progress, assisting with internal testing, go-live planning and implementation
  • You’ll arrange and attend client meetings and comfortably lead these meetings, ensuring you are well prepared for the meeting and  follow up as appropriate after the meeting
  • You’ll have responsibility for nurturing client relationships and demonstrating the ability to up-sell additional services across a multitude of digital channels
  • You’ll work closely with the creative and development teams to ensure that the client’s requirements are effectively executed and delivered to agreed timescales and within budget
  • You’ll review and analyse data for your clients and communicate effectively the results, making recommendations for improvement
