It’s a space where people from all walks of life can come together to share ideas, stories and experiences. It’s a platform for learning, conversation and inspiration, designed to spark meaningful connections across the city. By giving attendees the power to choose the content and lead discussions, Picture This helps build a stronger, more connected culture, which can leave a lasting impact on both individuals and the wider community.

The challenge
In Milton Keynes, as in many growing cities, creative communities and knowledge-sharing often happen in isolated pockets. People with ideas, skills and experiences rarely have a central space to connect, collaborate or exchange insights. This fragmentation limits opportunities for learning, innovation and building a stronger local culture – we wanted to change that.
The Solution
By creating Picture This, an open, welcoming event that brings diverse voices into one room. Attendees choose the content, lead discussions and share expertise, fostering a sense of community and collaboration. By removing barriers to participation and encouraging interaction, the event builds connections, sparks fresh ideas and helps shape a thriving creative ecosystem in Milton Keynes.
