Branding the first MK AI Festival to spotlight tech innovation.

We created a bold, future-facing identity for Milton Keynes’ AI Festival. A week-long event showcasing the city’s role in driving innovation. The brand needed to align with the existing MK identity while pushing things forward with energy, motion and digital flair.

The challenge

Milton Keynes City Council needed an identity that could honour the city’s tech legacy while making a statement about where it’s headed. It had to feel part of the city’s brand, yet distinct enough to spark excitement around AI and future thinking.

The Solution

We reimagined the MK square as a rising graphic symbol, representing momentum, innovation and evolution. This formed the foundation of a dynamic, modular system that housed AI-inspired visuals, gradient overlays, and motion-led storytelling. The result? A striking brand with a digital pulse and serious presence.
