Milton Keynes City Council sought to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the successful 2023 AI Summit at Bletchley Park by launching the AI Festival, a week-long event showcasing the city’s innovative approach to technology through talks, demonstrations, and interactive experiences.
We were approached to develop a compelling brand identity for the festival that would excite visitors and establish a strong foundation for Milton Keynes as a hub for AI innovation. The identity needed to seamlessly align with the Milton Keynes City brand while also embodying the forward-thinking and technological spirit of the event.
The Iconic Square, Elevated for the AI Generation
Using the core elements of the Milton Keynes City brand, we reimagined the iconic square as a dynamic element within a digital space. By elevating the square in an upward motion, we created a graphical representation of progress and the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence.
Squares in Motion
The ascending squares formed angled spaces where AI-related imagery and digital artworks could be housed, representing the limitless possibilities of evolving technology. The gradients captured hues from the existing Milton Keynes colour palette, adding a fluid, adaptive quality, echoing the ever-changing digital landscape.
We transformed the festival’s identity into a platform that inspires innovation, celebrates AI, and strengthens Milton Keynes’ presence in the tech world.
Teasers That Turned Heads
We launched the brand with teaser posts that were bold and intriguing, even your inbox wished it could RSVP. Keynote speakers? Mic dropped.
